The vigil in the farmyard, preceded by a typical country dinner, is an ancient ritual of peasant culture. Once upon a time, people gathered on the farmyard to talk, eat, play, dance and wait for the night.

Thanks to the “vigils” from June to September it is nice to get together to dine and relax in the cool of the evening sipping a good glass of wine.

The Dinner in the farmyard is not only a themed dinner. The farmyard is there for real, together with an organic vegetable garden, the stables with calves, and if you are lucky, you can also come across the friendly farm animals that walk happily among the tables and the farmhouse guests.

A long wooden table, woven chairs, a white linen or cotton tablecloth, the scent of aromatic herbs, flasks of wine and the fragrant bread baked in the wood burning oven as well as a good company are the essential ingredients for a beautiful evening.
